The k̓itki·kȼamnam Department is committed to supporting learners and families residing both on and off reserve. Staff work closely with local schools to improve attendance, support successful transitions between grades and schools, provide access to extracurricular opportunities, and ensure students and families receive the supports they need to thrive.
Community engagement remains a priority, with education engagement sessions held annually in November and May. Members are encouraged to connect with department staff throughout the year to share feedback, ask questions, and help strengthen programs and services for students and families.
k̓itki·kȼamnam Department will continue to focus on exploring an Early Learning Jurisdiction Pathway and advancing capital improvements for the school playground and daycare facility. These initiatives will help create stronger learning environments and expand opportunities for children, youth, and families while continuing to advance community-led education for future generations.
