Chief Electoral Officer – 2026 ʔaq̓am General Election
ʔaq̓am ʔiⱡwat̓naʔis (Chief & Council) has extended the closing date for the Request for Proposals for a qualified and experienced Chief Electoral Officer to administer the 2026 ʔaq̓am General Election.
New Closing Date: Monday, August 17, 2026
Time: 12:00 p.m. (MDT)
Submission: ʔaq̓am Administration, 7470 Mission Road, Cranbrook, BC
The successful proponent will be responsible for administering the election in accordance with the ʔaq̓am Custom Election Regulations (2024) and the election timeline approved by ʔaq̓am ʔiⱡwat̓naʔis.
Interested and qualified individuals are encouraged to review the full RFP for submission requirements, scope of work, qualifications, and fee proposal requirements.
Election Day: Wednesday, October 28, 2026
