DESCRIPTION:11:00 am – 1 pm @ Health and Wellness Centre\nLunch at 12 pm \nPlease join us for a moment of remembrance\, awareness\, and reflection. \nTogether we will honour those lost to overdose through ribbon tying at the bridge\, community speakers\, and a moment of silence. \nIf you would like to honour a loved one\, please bring a photo to be included in our commemorative candlelight vigil display at the Health Centre. \n\nInternational Overdose Awareness Day – Community Speakers Wanted \nOn August 31\, we invite community members to share words of remembrance\, hope\, healing\, and awareness. \nYou may choose to speak in memory of a loved one\, share your lived experience with substance use or overdose\, read a poem\, or offer a message that feels meaningful to you. \nIf you would like to speak during the event\, please email JBrown@aqam.net by August 20th to be included in the program.
